The UCSB Men’s Soccer Team takes immense pride in investing back into a community that has given us unwavering support over the years. We believe that our success on the soccer field is secondary to the work we do with the youth in Santa Barbara and the surrounding counties, and take immense pride in serving as role models for the future leaders of our country.
With student-athletes from approximately a dozen countries and throughout the United States on our current roster, we are a compassionate group of individuals who bring diverse backgrounds and cultural beliefs to our philanthropic work. Our diversity allows us to create deep and meaningful relationships with each person we meet, giving us the ability to connect with a wide variety of individuals.
By hosting an annual AYSO Skills Day, offering soccer clinics at Storke Field, collecting cleats for children in Africa, recognizing community leaders via our Golden Scarf program, and working with the numerous charities and organizations in the Santa Barbara area, the UCSB Men’s Soccer Program improves the lives of others on a daily basis.
Although our athletic accomplishments are important, we value ASSISTS in the community as much as we value assists on the soccer field.
Our ability to make a difference in a child’s life is how we define success.
