UCSB Vacation Camp Kickoff

Last week marked the first of our three UCSB Vacation Day Camps.  Over 50 boys and girls ages 5-12 worked hard all week, practicing their footwork, shooting and passing skills. Our future gauchos were divided up into groups based on both age and skill. Additionally, the kids were prepped with tons of World Cup trivia, getting them excited to watch and cheer for their favorite teams.UCSB Men and Women Soccer players, Marshall Carzares, Miranda Cornejo, Ashley Dean, Savannah Francis, Kevin Garcia-Lopez, Ishmael Jome, and Daniel Welsh served as coaches and mentors throughout the week.  Having student athletes as coaches enabled the campers to witness the soccer skills of top Division I players.
The second Vacation Camp is underway this week and the third and final camp runs from August 4th-8th at Girsh Park, from 9:00 am-1:00 pm.  For more information and online registration, please visit Walk-up registration is accepted.

UCSB Vacation Camp: Starting Today!

Today marks the start of the first week of UCSB’s Vacation Camp at Hollister School. This camp is designed for boys and girls 5-12 years old to work on their shooting, dribbling and passing skills while focusing on team work and learning about the upcoming World Cup Games! This is a great opportunity for kids in the local community to meet some of our Big West Champion players and star-athletes from the Women’s team. We offer a small ratio between coaches and kids to foster better skill development in personal environment.

The following camps will be from June 16th-20th and August 4th-8th at Girsh Park, from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. For more information and online registration, please visit Walk-up registration is also available.
